How fundraising can work in your school
Follow just three steps to start making a difference to thousands of children across the country.
Step 1:
Choose the cause to support from the topics in the first 6 units covered by My Life. Your class might like to vote on this – it will help focus your fundraising and motivate your class.
Step 2:
Download mock emails from the relevant My Life character(s) to encourage your pupils.
Step 3:
Order your fundraising pack containing:
- Collection box
- Box stickers and reseal labels
- Giro
- Collection envelopes
Ask your pupils to take a collection envelope home to their parents or carers and bring any donations for your collection box.
Some pupils may like to take a few envelopes to collect from other friends and family.
When you're ready, open the box in the presence of a witness.
Pay the funds into The Children's Society account at any Barclays Bank or Post Office using the Giro provided.
Or send a cheque (payable to 'The Children's Society') with the unused Giro to:
